My abstract art…
After several years progressing from realistic-styled landscapes, the inevitable shift towards more defined abstracts took over. This process started shortly after I became a “Master Pastelist” in 2011, an honor designated by the Pastel Society of America and required acceptance into 3 juried shows in New York.
While I loved the spontinaty of Pastels, I felt frustrated by the size limitations dictated by the medium, I wanted to create larger, more impactful art and the move to oils began.
